This is the next edition of the “Help More” action, which unites runners and fans of the Poland Business Run in a common goal. Most importantly, everyone can join the charity sports competition, even if they do not run themselves. There is a common finish line for everyone - helping those in need.
Our idea of helping is becoming closer to more and more people. However, not everyone can run with us. For those who want to join the Poland Business Run in a different way than participating in the relay run, the “Help More” campaign has been created.
It is also an additional rivalry between runners, because through the selected team we donate funds for people with physical disabilities and after mastectomy. The payments will place the team in a specific position in the ranking. So the teams are competing not only on the day of the Run, but from now on! And we all have an impact on this race!
Take part in the race to help!
How? Each team that has signed up for this year's edition of the Poland Business Run is listed in the ranking of the “Help More” action (list of teams (link)). All you have to do is enter, search for the team through which you want to transfer funds for the charges of the Poland Business Run Foundation and make a payment of a selected amount.
We also encourage teams to take up the gauntlet and promote their fundraising to colleagues, family and friends. The teams which raise the most funds by 30 June, 31 July or 4 September will win the title of Support Leaders and Yellow Leader T-shirts. These will be awarded up to three times, so check the results regularly and fight to the end! The first 5 teams will also receive prizes, which will be handed out during the final of the campaign.
We are counting on the runners' creativity to raise funds for their team account. To share a direct link to the fundraising, simply find your team on the list (link), click on their name and copy the link.
Who are we collecting for?
The “Help More” campaign is an additional form of support for our beneficiaries with physical disabilities and after mastectomy. Aniela is a 48-year-old woman from the Podlasie voivodeship. She couldn't believe it when she heard the diagnosis - malignant breast tumour. Today she has already had a mastectomy, but has limited mobility in her right hand. Therefore she needs funding for a special rehabilitation camp dedicated to women after mastectomy.
Marcin is 39 years old and lives in Katowice. As a result of a traffic accident, he has been in a wheelchair since 2008. His passion is sport. He dreams about a lightweight sports wheelchair which will increase his chance to compete with the best in the floorball league. He believes that sport is the best form of rehabilitation for him.
Kuba is an 11-year-old boy from Gdańsk with a rare congenital anomaly of the skeletal system - femoral underdevelopment. His left leg is currently 6 cm shorter than the right one. The difference in the length of both legs keeps growing. Kuba underwent a number of operations and is systematically rehabilitated. The purchase of the orthosis will allow him to lengthen his left leg, stabilize the hip and knee joint during the whole treatment process.
Every zloty donated to a particular team increases our ability to support them. Let's help them more, let's help together!
