I. DEFINITIONS
1. Poland Business Run - a charity relay race held in a stationary formula in Krakow and Warsaw and in a global virtual formula, which consists of running a distance of 20 km by a team of five people (each competitor - 4 km), aimed at helping people with musculoskeletal disabilities and people after mastectomy. Detailed information on the run can be found at: www.polandbusinessrun.pl (“Event” or “Run”).
2. Organizer - the Poland Business Run Foundation with its seat in Krakow, ul. Henryka Siemiradzkiego 17/2, 31-137 Krakow, entered into the register of entrepreneurs kept by the District Court for Kraków-Śródmieście in Kraków, XI Economic Department of the National Court Register under KRS number: 0000617320, NIP: 6762507232, REGON: 364424465 (“Organizer”).
3. Competitor, Participant or Runner - a natural person of age, registered to participate in the Run, who has expressed a desire to participate and accepted the provisions of the Rules and Regulations.
4. Team - a team consisting of five Competitors, entered for the Run under a common name.
5. Entrant – a natural person of age with full legal capacity who enters into an agreement with the Organizer for participation in the Event, by completing the Entry Form available at www.polandbusinessrun.pl.
6. Entry Form – Entry Form - an online registration form, available to logged-in users of www.polandbusinessrun.pl website, by means of which the Entrant may register the Team for the Run.
7. Application - a mobile application available under the name “Poland Business Run”, containing information about the Run, with the help of which a Competitor of the virtual run can register their result. The application is available for download to a mobile device from the Google Play and Apple Store.
8. Rules and Regulations - the present Rules and Regulations of the Poland Business Run, defining the rules of participation in the Event, available on the website www.polandbusinessrun.pl.
9. Formula - the chosen form of participation in the Event:
a) Virtual Run - participation in the competition from anywhere using the Application.
b) Stationary run - a mass run in a specific place and at a specific time on a route prepared by the Organizer.
c) Walk - participation in an accompanying event under the name of PBR Walk, carried out on the route of the stationary run according to the rules specified in the Rules and Regulations.
II. OBJECTIVE
1. The objectives of the Run are:
a) To popularize knowledge and familiarize people with the subject of amputation, musculoskeletal disabilities and mastectomy.
b) Promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.
c) Integration of local communities and the business community.
d) Raising money to help the beneficiaries of the Poland Business Run Foundation.
III. DATE, PLACE AND FORMULA OF THE EVENT
1. The event will be organized in 3 formulas:
a) Virtual run - participation in the competition from anywhere using the Application.
b) Stationary run - a mass run in a specific place and at a specific time on a route prepared by the Organizer.
c) Walk - participation in an accompanying event under the name of PBR Walk, played on the route of the stationary run according to the rules specified in the Rules and Regulations.
2. Poland Business Run will be held on the following dates:
a) 31/08/2025 (Sunday), at 9:30 - stationary run in Warsaw.
b) From 00:00 on 1/09/2025 to 23:59 on 7/09/2025 – global virtual run.
c) 6/09/2025 (Saturday), at 9:30 a.m. – stationary run in Kraków.
d) 6/09/2025 (Saturday), at 13:00 – stationary PBR Walk in Kraków.
e) 7/09/2025 (Sunday), at 9:30 a.m. – stationary run in Krakówe.
The times given refer to Central European Time (CEST).
2. Stationary runs will be completed at a distance of 4km. The exact locations and routes of the stationary runs will be made available on the Organizer's website no later than 14 days before the start of the Event.
3. The virtual run will be carried out by Participants anywhere in the world on a chosen route with a distance of 4 km.
IV. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
1. The Poland Business Run shall be open to persons who, during the registration period for the Run and before the limits of the Participants are exhausted, have successfully registered and paid the participation fee by the date specified on the invoice (the date on which the funds are credited to the Organiser's bank account).
2. The Poland Business Run is a relay race. The team must consist of five persons who turned 18 years old on the day of the run at the latest.
3. One competitor may be entered only in one team.
4. One person/company may enter any number of five-person teams.
5. Each team is required to designate one of the competitors as Team Captain.
6. Admission to the entry list shall be determined by the date of completion of the Entry Form on the Organizer's website.
7. The Organizer reserves the right to book a pool of places for invited athletes and sponsors.
8. The Organizer reserves the right to introduce an additional pool of starting numbers and to keep a waiting list.
9. The limits of the Participants are:
a) 31/08/2025, stationary run in Warsaw: 1000 Teams (5000 Competitors).
b) 1-7/09/2025, global virtual run: no limit.
c) 6/09/2025, stationary run in Kraków: 1800 Teams (9000 Competitors)
d) 6/09/2025, stationary PBR Walk in Kraków: 400 Teams (2000 Competitors).
e) 7/09/2025, stationary run in Kraków: 1800 Teams (9000 Competitors)
10. The Organizer does not provide participants with accident insurance.
11. Each competitor takes part in the race at their own risk.
12. Each competitor, by accepting the Rules and Regulations of the Run, declares that they are aware that the Organizer is not responsible for any damage and consequences of accidents that may occur during the run. In addition, the competitor of the stationary run makes a statement in writing that they are fit to participate in the run.
13. Competitors agree that their personal data will be processed for the purposes of the Organizer and that their image will be used in information and promotional materials in accordance with the Privacy Policy available at www.polandbusinessrun.pl.
V. REGISTRATION AND ENTRY FEES
1. Participant registration will be launched on 13/05/2025 at 12:00 CEST.
2. Registration will last until:
a) 05/06/2025, 23:59 for Real, Real Plus, Virtual and Virtual Plus packages,
b) 30/07/2025, 23:59 for Real Charity, Virtual Charity and PBR Walk packages,
c) 28/08/2025, 23:59 for Virtual Eco package
or until the limit of capacity is exhausted..
3. Successful registration is considered to be the filling out of the Entry Form by the Entrant (at registration it is required to provide: team name, company name /if the entry is a company entry/, invoice data, shipping address of the starting package for the team and data of at least one competitor).
4. The Person Registering is obliged to take care of the truthfulness of the data to be entered in the Application Form. The Organizer shall not be liable for any failure or delay due to missing or incorrectly completed data.
5. The Person Registering may authorize the team captain to edit the team data and the data of individual Competitors. This authorization can be done by granting the captain access to editing on the website www.polandbusinessrun.pl.
6. The Organizer shall not be responsible for any clerical or other mistakes found in the documents and forms made by the Person Registering or any other person authorized by them.
7. Within 14 days from the date of acceptance of the team, the entry fee must be paid and the data of the other competitors must be completed (should this data not be completed at the time of application). Otherwise, the application may be canceled. At the express request of the person registering, the payment deadline may be extended accordingly with the consent of the Organizer.
8. Declarations on jersey sizes for competitors can be made by the person registering the team in the Entry Form until 30/07/2025. Failure to complete the jersey size by the indicated deadline results in the allocation of a random size to the competitor and releases the Organizer from the obligation to guarantee the correct size.
9. (9) Changes to the competitor included in the team and other changes to the team data can be made no later than 3 days before the start date of the Event (subject to paragraph VI, item 6). Changes are made by the Person Registering or the person authorized by them, using their account on the website www.polandbusinessrun.pl, respectively changing the data in the Entry Form.
10. The amount of the entry fee that competitors pay for the participation of the entire team in the race is as follows:
a) Stationary run
- Real Charity – 1600 PLN net/1 team (1728 PLN gross)
- Real Plus – 800 PLN net/1 team (864 PLN gross)
- Real – 625 PLN net/1 team (675 PLN gross)
b) Virtual run
- Virtual Charity – 1600 PLN net/1 team (1728 PLN gross)
- Virtual Plus – 625 PLN net/1 team (675 PLN gross)
- Virtual – 450 PLN net/1 team (486 PLN gross)
- Virtual Eco – 450 PLN net/1 team (486 PLN gross)
c) Walk
- PBR Walk – 450 PLN net/1 team (486 PLN gross)
11. The entry fee should be paid by wire transfer to the appropriate bank account specified on the invoice. The number of the pro forma invoice must be provided in the title of the transfer.
12. The organizer accepts only payments in the form of bank transfer.
13. The Person Registering declares that the company represented by them accepts VAT invoices in electronic form.
14. Invoices are generated and sent automatically, based on the data contained in the Form, by e-mail to the address indicated in the Entry Form. It is the responsibility of the Person Registering to ensure that the data entered is correct and up-to-date.
15. At the express request of the Person Registering, sent to [email protected], the Organizer may issue a summary invoice.
14. At the express and justified request of the Person Registering, sent to [email protected], the Organizer may issue a VAT invoice for payment instead of a proforma invoice. Normally, VAT invoices are issued only after payment is made on the basis of the proforma invoice.
16. At the express request of the person registering the team, sent to [email protected] before payment is made, the Organizer may issue an invoice in a different currency at the conversion rate on the day of issuing the invoice.
17. Invoices issued more than 60 days before the date of service shall be advance invoices.
18. The entry fee once paid is not refundable. The fee cannot be transferred to another relay team. By paying the fee, the team understands that in case of inability to participate in the race, the fee will not be refunded.
19. The 55% of the net amount of the entry fee will be donated to support people with physical disabilities and post-mastectomy. The remaining 45% will cover administrative and organizational costs of the run.
VI. STARTING PACKAGES
1. As part of the entry fee, each competitor will receive an individual starting package. The makeup of the individual packages will be posted in the appropriate tab on the Organizer's website before the start of the registration for the run.
2. A set of 5 starting packages of a given team for the virtual run will be sent from 04/08 to 29/08/2025 to the shipping address indicated in the Entry Form. Starting packages for stationary runs will be distributed at the competition office. The place and working hours of the competition office in Kraków and Warsaw will be posted on the Organizer's website no later than 14 days before the start of distribution of packages.
3. In the case of shipment of entry packages outside of Poland, the recipient of the shipment may be charged with shipping costs. The cost will be determined individually based on the destination country of the shipment. The organizer reserves the right to refuse to ship the package to a country outside the European Union.
4. The team captain is responsible for the distribution of packages to the competitors of their team.
5. In case of failure to collect the shipment containing the athletes' packages, they will not be sent again. This does not affect the possibility of participation in the race, if the prerequisites specified in paragraph V, points 5-9 have been met.
6. The possibility to make changes in the data of the Team will be blocked earlier in the case of the issuance of a starting package for a virtual run.
VII. RULES OF RUNNING IN THE STATIONARY FORMULA
1. The start of the Poland Business Run in the stationary formula will take place at 9:30 a.m. The start is preceded by a briefing of the captains. Competitors starting in the first change must appear at the start at 9:15 a.m. The organizer may not allow the relay team that does not report to the start at the designated time.
2. The team has to run 5 laps of the route. Each lap has a distance of 4 km. Each runner of the team covers one lap. Changes in the relay are made only in the designated change zone, which is located behind the start/finish line. It is not permissible for one runner to complete more than one lap or to start in more than one team in the same competition.
3. Teams are bound by a time limit of 3 hours. At 12:30 pm, the running route will be opened to traffic. Competitors are required to leave the route if the time limit is exceeded. Whoever remains on the route after the time limit specified in the Regulations shall be responsible for it on their own in accordance with the applicable traffic regulations and the Civil Code.
4. The starting order of the athletes in a team shall correspond to the order declared in the Entry Form as of 3 days before the start of the Event.
5. The running route is closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
6. Competitors shall comply with the instructions of the Organizer, services securing the running route and uniformed services under pain of disqualification.
7. In case of the appearance of a privileged vehicle on the route, the runners are obliged to stop the race and allow passage.
8. For safety reasons, it is forbidden to move on the running route on bicycles, wheelchairs, roller skates, skateboards and other mechanical devices and with strollers without a valid permit issued by the Organizer. It is also forbidden to use Nordic walking poles and run with a dog.
9. It is forbidden to bring intoxicants, illegal substances, physical performance enhancing drugs and alcoholic substances of any kind to the Run venue. Participants are prohibited from taking such drugs and substances both before and during the Run under pain of exclusion from the Run. In the event that a participant is found to be in violation of the above prohibition, the organizer reserves the right not to allow them to participate in the race or exclude them during the race.
10. Only one person from each team is allowed in the change zone. Persons finishing their turn should leave the change zone in the designated place without undue delay.
11. It is prohibited to use audio devices (headphones, headsets) by competitors staying in the change zone.
12. The organizer shall provide locker room and toilets for the competitors.
13. The requirement for a team to be classified is the completion of the stationary run by all members of the team.
14. Competitors are required to participate in the run using T-shirts provided by the Organizer. This is a necessary condition for the team to be admitted to the run and later classified. No tampering with the T-shirt provided by the Organizer is allowed. It is allowed to use elements that distinguish the team on other parts of the competitor's outfit, provided that these elements do not obscure the T-shirt, including in particular the starting number and logos of the Poland Business Run Sponsors.
15. Each competitor declares in writing that they are aware that the Organizer is not responsible for any damages and consequences of accidents that may occur during the race, not related to their statutory responsibility as the Run Organizer. The original statements shall be delivered to the Organizer on the day of collecting the participation package by the Team Captain or a person authorized by them.
VIII. RULES OF RUNNING IN THE VIRTUAL FORMULA
1. The starting order of the competitors is arbitrary. The order of competitors in the team on the result list shall correspond to the order declared in the Entry Form as of 28/08/2025.
2. It is not necessary that all competitors of the team run at the same place or at the same time.
3. Competitors shall cover the route by running or walking. It is allowed to run with a stroller, use Nordic walking poles, run with a guide and run with a dog. It is also allowed to cover the running distance on a stationary treadmill.
4. The participant has full freedom in choosing the location of the run. The participant determines the route of the run on their own, observing the applicable regulations (including traffic laws, the Civil Code and site regulations) and the necessary safety measures in force in the country where he is currently staying during the implementation of the run.
5. The organizer shall not be liable for any damages, as well as claims by the participant or third parties, resulting from the run route chosen by the participant or the participant's failure to comply with the regulations and safety measures.
6. The use of bicycles, rollerblades, skateboards, skis, scooters and other devices, vehicles for mobility is prohibited during the run.
7. Each competitor shall register their run using the Poland Business Run Application or any other commercially available GPS-enabled running application registered on a mobile device, or using a GPS-enabled watch. In the case of a run on a stationary treadmill, as mentioned in point 3., the documentation of the run shall be done with the help of a built-in electronic meter.
8. After completing the run, the competitors are required to independently enter the correct results into the Poland Business Run Application or its browser version. It is required to provide the email address of the given competitor, provided at the team registration, the time obtained and confirmation of the result in the form of a screenshot from the running application, a photo of the built-in electronic meter on a stationary treadmill or a photo of a watch with GPS function. The size of the uploaded file must not be larger than 2MB.
9. Each competitor is required to enter their result no later than 23:59 Central European Time (CEST) on 07/09/2024.
10. The score can be entered only once, only in one team, and it is not possible to edit it. Entering the score in accordance with the facts, is the responsibility of the player. Incorrectly entered or failure to enter the result in the allotted time is not subject to complaint.
11. The condition for the classification of a team is the completion of the race by all members of the team and the transmission of results by each of them in accordance with point 7. The organizer reserves the right to verify the results.
12. The official results of the competition will be announced on 12/09/2025.
13. Failure to complete the run or failure to enter the result into the Application by any of the competitors within the specified time limit, shall entail non-classification of the team in the run.
IX. RULES OF PARTICIPATING IN THE PBR WALK
1. The start of the PBR Walk will take place at 1:00 p.m. Competitors must arrive at the start at 12:45 p.m. The organizer may not allow a team that does not arrive at the start at the designated time.
2. All Competitors of the Team shall start together at the same hour. The order of the Competitors in the Team on the score list shall correspond to the order declared in the Application Form as of 3 days before the start of the Event.
3. Competitors complete the route by walking. For safety reasons, it is forbidden to move on the running route on bicycles, wheelchairs, roller skates, skateboards and other mechanical devices and with strollers without a valid permit issued by the Organizer. It is also forbidden to use Nordic walking poles and run with a dog.
4. Each competitor covers a distance of 4 km.
5. The route is closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
6. Competitors shall comply with the instructions of the Organizer, services securing the running route and uniformed services under pain of disqualification.
7. In case of the appearance of a privileged vehicle on the route, the runners are obliged to stop the race and allow passage.
8. Teams are bound by a time limit of 60 minutes. At 2:00 pm, the running route will be opened to traffic. Competitors are required to leave the route if the time limit is exceeded. Whoever remains on the route after the time limit specified in the Regulations shall be responsible for it on their own in accordance with the applicable traffic regulations and the Civil Code.

X. CLASSIFICATIONS AND AWARDS
1. Participants who complete the Poland Business Run will receive commemorative medals. Medals will be included in the starting package for Virtual, Virtual Plus and Virtual Charity packages, and handed out on the day of the Run in the case of Real packages. Virtual Eco and PBR Walk packages do not include commemorative medals.
2. The Run has a recreational and charitable dimension. Awards will be provided for the winners in the following categories:
- Stationary running - in which the prize is provided for the teams with the best total time in a given stationary competition.
- Global running - in which the prize is provided for the teams that obtained the best total time in the virtual competition.
- Charity - the rules of the charity competition are detailed in separate rules of the Help More campaign.
3. There are symbolic prizes for taking places I-III in the running classifications of teams. The organizer reserves the right to expand the number of awarded teams.
4. The organizer reserves the right to additional verification of the times obtained by the competitors in the running category.
5. The organizer reserves the right to introduce additional prize categories.
XI. FINAL PROVISIONS
1. All participants of the Poland Business Run are bound by the Regulations. By registering, participants declare that they have read the Rules and Regulations and accept its provisions and undertake to respect them.
2. Any violation of these Rules and Regulations by participants may result in disqualification of the team in which the violating participant is included. Disqualification may occur both during the race and after its completion.
3. Complaints regarding the classification of teams and the operation of the Application may be submitted in writing to [email protected] within 2 days from the announcement of the results. Complaints sent after this time will not be considered. The Organizer reserves the right to examine complaints within 14 days of receipt of the application.
4. The Organizer reserves the right to amend the Rules and Regulations, which shall become effective upon publication of the amended Rules and Regulations on the website www.polandbusinessrun.pl.
5. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel or discontinue the Run without giving reasons.
6. The Organizer shall not be liable if the cancellation or interruption of the Event is due to force majeure, in particular due to: fire, earthquake, flood, epidemic, general strike, general riot, natural disaster, embargo, war, restrictions imposed on the territory of the Republic of Poland or due to other circumstances that could not have been foreseen and are beyond the control of the Organizer.
7. The Poland Business Run Foundation shall have the exclusive right to make a binding interpretation of the provisions of these Rules and Regulations, resolve disputes and doubts arising during their application and answer questions concerning their content.
