PBR Walk – information package

24.08.2025

The first PBR Walk, a recreational team walk as part of the Poland Business Run, will start on 6 September. This event is for everyone who does not want to, does not like or cannot run, but wants to get involved in helping the beneficiaries of the PBR Foundation.

The PBR Walk will start on 6 September 2025 at 12:30 p.m. At 12:00 p.m., a joint warm-up before the recreational walk will begin in front of the stage in Jordan Park, led by the Medicover Sport team. At 12:15 p.m., we will walk together to the start line, and at 12:30 p.m. (not 1:00 p.m., there has been a change in time), we will set off from the start line.

Route and course of the walk All participants of the PBR Walk set off from the starting line at the same time. Competitors have to cover a 4-kilometre route, which will lead around Krakow's Błonia Park and Jordan Park. It is the same route that runners cover a few hours earlier. The start, finish and a change zone will be located at 3 Maja Avenue, near Reymana Street. We start the walk along 3 Maja Avenue towards Cichy Kącik, turn left, continue along the pavement and cycle path along Piastowska Street, turn left into Na Błoniach, along Na Błoniach Street to 3 Maja Avenue, turn left again, continue along the 3 Maja Avenue promenade, turn at the National Museum onto the 3 Maja Avenue promenade. Here, we enter the main gate to Jordan Park, where there is a turning point, and return to Błonia, heading for the FINISH LINE.

Participants complete the route by walking. For safety reasons, it is prohibited to use bicycles, trolleys, roller skates, skateboards, and other mechanical devices on the route, as well as trolleys without a valid permit issued by the Organiser, and walking with dogs. The use of active strollers and Nordic walking poles is permitted.

We will not be measuring time during the PBR Walk. Participants are limited to a time limit of 60 minutes. The walking route will be closed at 1:30 p.m.

Attractions in the running town

We invite PBR Walk participants, fans and entire families to the running town and to the picnic and recreation area. We have prepared attractions for adults, seniors and children, such as massages, workshops and a chill zone with sun loungers and poufs. In addition, we have prepared snacks, drinks, games, quizzes, competitions, etc. Thanks to our partners and sponsors, most of these will be free of charge. The village will be open until 5 p.m.

Traffic disruptions

Please be advised that there will be a temporary change in traffic organisation from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Aleja 3 Maja (between the intersection with Oleandry Street and the intersection with Reymana Street), the pedestrian zone around Błonia Park, and the bicycle path on Reymana Street will be closed to traffic.

From midnight to 4:00 p.m., there will be a no-stopping zone along 3 Maja Avenue, and from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the road will be completely closed to traffic. Please follow the signs.

Parking and access to the race

Due to road repairs in Krakow, tram service to Cichy Kącik is suspended. We recommend using public transport and taking a bus to the Błonia area – e.g. to the National Museum, Cracovia Błonia or Cichy Kącik stops. Those travelling by car can use the paid underground car park at the National Museum in Krakow at al. 3 Maja 1.
