PBR 2023 virtual run - day of the run and sharing your result

24.08.2023

The Poland Business Run 2023 is a virtual run along a route of your choice. Taking part in the run is very simple, but there are a few things to keep in mind in order for your team's start to be counted.

  • Each competitor will run 4 km on a route of their choice on September 3 between 00:00 and 20:00 (CEST).
  • The order in which the competitors start is arbitrary.
  • It is not necessary that all the competitors of the team run at the same place and time.
  • You can complete the route by running or walking. Running using Nordic walking poles or a stationary treadmill is permitted.
  • You must register your start using any GPS-enabled running app of your choice (e.g. MapMyRun, Strava, Runkeeper), a watch or on a stationary treadmill.
  • After completing 4 km, take a screenshot from the running app (or a photo of your watch/treadmill display) showing the distance covered and the time achieved and enter the result into the Poland Business Run app.

What will be needed to share the result?

In order to upload your score, you are required to enter:

  • 1. the athlete's email address provided at team registration,
  • 2. the obtained time in the format HH:MM:SS,

and provide confirmation of the result in the form of your choice:

  • a. a screenshot from the running application,
  • b. a photo of a watch with GPS function,
  • c. a photo of a stationary treadmill meter.

The result can be entered only once and cannot be edited. Be sure to check that all data are entered correctly and only then click the SAVE button.

Each competitor is required to enter their score no later than September 4 at 11:59 am (CEST).

Do I need to wear my T-shirt and start number at the start?

We encourage you to wear the elements of your start pack so that your team is visible on the day of the event! Regardless of where you start, proudly represent the colours of the Poland Business Run.

Get your virtual medal or NFT medal!!!

As in previous years, a virtual medal option is available on the PBR app. This is an easy way to share your charity information on social media.

This year we have an absolute novelty for you! Each of the more than 36,000 runners will receive a medal in the form of an NFT. An NFT token is a digital certificate of ownership of an asset, which is stored in blockchain technology. You will receive a link to your personalised NFT medal with your time up to one week after the run.

Share photos of your virtual run on social media by tagging @polandbusinessrun!

And most of all, thank you for running to help our beneficiaries - people with mobility disabilities and after mastectomy.

Good luck on 3 September!
