Over 46,000 people took part in the 14th edition of the Poland Business Run!

08.09.2025

A record 46,635 runners, 1,832 participating companies and corporations, and, above all, support for over 100 people with mobility disabilities, after amputees, and post-mastectomy individuals – these are the results of Poland's largest charity business relay race, which we have been organizing since 2012. The Poland Business Run, held for the fourteenth time, aims to activate, integrate, and provide support. Thanks to the participants, our Foundation's beneficiaries will receive funding for rehabilitation and psychological support, as well as the purchase of prosthetics and wheelchairs.

The Poland Business Run is a charity relay race for employees of companies and corporations. Participants form teams of five, each covering a distance of 4 km. Participating in the race is not only a way to bond the team and promote the joy of sport, but above all, a way to help others. Each runner's participation provides real help to those in need. Our initiative is supported by both businesses and ambassadors, joined this year by Justyna Święty-Ersetic, a track and field athlete specializing in the 400m, an Olympian from London and Rio de Janeiro, an Olympic champion in the mixed 4x400m relay, an Olympic runner-up in the women's 4x400m relay from Tokyo, and a representative of Poland at the Paris Olympics.

"The relay has a special place in my heart, so I'm incredibly proud to be an ambassador for this event. Team running is wonderful! It's great to be able to unite during the race, run for the team, and raise money for those in need with every step," says Justyna Święty-Ersetic.

Krakow, Warsaw, and the whole world!

This year's Poland Business Run took place in Warsaw, Krakow, and virtually from anywhere in the world. Over 5,000 more people participated in the 14th edition than last year.

The stationary event in the capital of the Małopolska region lasted two days – September 6th and 7th – and attracted a staggering 16,000 participants. The run was accompanied by two additional events: PBR Kids, a competition for the youngest runners in three age categories and three distances, and PBR Walk – a recreational, team walk for those who don't want, don't like, or can't run. Many relay ambassadors appeared on Krakow's Błonia meadows, including athlete Adam Czerwiński, coach Adrianna Palka, and actors Lidia Bogacz-Popiel, Marcin Zacharzewski, and Mateusz Janicki. QCZAJ (Daniel Kuczaj – coach and influencer), an ambassador for GLS, warmed up the runners before the start.

The Poland Business Run also returned to Warsaw after a five-year hiatus. Over 3,000 people ran on the runway and in the green spaces of Bemowo Airport to support people with mobility disabilities, after amputees, and post-mastectomy patients. This year, 10 of our Foundation's beneficiaries are from the Masovian Voivodeship.

In both cities, we also organized family picnics for runners, their families, and supporters, featuring many exciting activities for children and adults, prepared by sponsors and event partners, including a chillout zone, food trucks, massages, workshops, games, and competitions with prizes.

As many as 27,600 people participated in the remote support through running. Runners tackled the virtual distance in various corners of the globe, including France, Germany, the Netherlands, the USA, India, Malaysia, Slovakia, Switzerland, the UK, Mexico, and China. The route could be completed by running or walking, with a stroller, with Nordic walking poles, with a guide, with a dog, or on a treadmill.

Who do we help?

Funds from runners' entry fees have so far allowed us to support 112 people with amputations, mobility impairments, and post-mastectomy injuries, and further applications from beneficiaries are being considered. So far, in 2025, we have funded 21 prosthetic limbs and their components, 84 rehabilitation stays and post-amputation and post-mastectomy rehabilitation sessions, 5 wheelchairs, and 2 psychological consultations. Poland Business Run Foundation beneficiaries come from all over Poland, with the majority from the Lesser Poland (41 people), Silesia (16 people), and Masovia (10 people) voivodeships.

During this year's edition, participants had the opportunity to meet the Foundation's beneficiaries in person – in a special tent in Krakow and in the integration zone in Warsaw. Beneficiaries also presented medals to the fastest runners in each round of the indoor race and cheered on the runners along the route in both cities.

A Simple Recipe for Helping More

As part of the "Help More" campaign, we raised over PLN 167,000! This additional competition between companies allows participants and supporters to easily and securely donate to the accounts of the relay teams using BLIK transfers to the Foundation's number: 519 815 815. The Helping Leaders are Leach and Lang Property Consultants, KIR S.A., Pega, Synthos S.A., and Hydro Extrusion.

The Strategic Sponsors of the Run are UBS, Standard Chartered, and Enea. The City of Krakow is the event's partner, and the Honorary Patrons are Łukasz Smółka, Marshal of the Małopolska Voivodeship, Aleksander Miszalski, Mayor of Krakow, and Rafał Trzaskowski, Mayor of Warsaw.

The next edition of the Poland Business Run is planned for September 2026. The coming year will be a jubilee year for the Foundation, as we plan to celebrate our 10th birthday and also host the 15th edition of the largest charity business relay race.
