The 14th edition of the Poland Business Run, the largest charitable business relay race in Poland, is ahead of us. Last year, all spots for the stationary race in Kraków were sold out in just 17 minutes! Registration for this year’s edition opened on May 13. The race will take place both stationary - in Kraków and Warsaw - and virtually, lasting an entire week and accessible from anywhere in the world. “It’s a combination of the two most beautiful things in the world - running and helping,” says outstanding Polish athlete Justyna Święty-Ersetic, PBR ambassador.
Entry fees will support our beneficiaries by funding prosthetic limbs, wheelchairs, rehabilitation, and psychological assistance. Poland Business Run is a race for everyone - no pressure, no limits, and the distance is very friendly: each runner in a 5-person relay covers 4 km. The event is charitable in nature. Over the past thirteen editions, we’ve helped 1,152 people with mobility impairments, amputees, and breast cancer survivors.
“Thanks to Poland Business Run, we can do something good for both ourselves and others. Running is the simplest and most satisfying activity that has a great impact on our health. But in this race, we’re not only helping our own health - and that’s what makes it even more beautiful,” adds Justyna Święty-Ersetic.
This year, among those awaiting support are: Agata from Zabrze, who was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent a full mastectomy; Marcin from Słupsk, whose leg was crushed by a five-ton wall during construction work; and Teresa from the Lesser Poland region, who had her leg amputated at the thigh due to cancer. These are just a few stories of people who will receive support this year from the Poland Business Run Foundation, made possible by proceeds from registration fees.
A celebration of running and helping
As every year, we’ve listened to the needs of our runners and partners and introduced a few new features.
On the last day of summer break - Sunday, August 31 at 9:30 a.m. - the stationary race will take place in Warsaw. Runners will compete in a 5×4 km relay on the grounds of Bemowo Airport. Interestingly, the last stationary edition of the race in Warsaw was held five years ago, so many running fans have been eagerly awaiting its return. The event will include a family picnic in the race village.
The following weekend, on September 6 and 7, runners will gather in Kraków to compete in two waves - the first starting on Saturday at 9:30 a.m., and the second on Sunday at the same time. This will allow us to increase the number of participants and provide more comfort in the relay changeover zones. Each team member will run 4 km along a route through Błonia and Jordan Park.
Accompanying events
In Kraków, we’ve also planned side events. On September 6 at 1:00 p.m., the PBR Walk will take place - a walk along the stationary race route for those who, for various reasons, cannot or do not like to run but still want to help. This is a brand-new format introduced this year. Then, on September 7, as part of PBR Kids, our youngest runners will take part in a friendly competition. Children will race in Jordan Park across 3 distances (100–400 meters) and 3 age categories (4–10 years old). We also invite you to enjoy the family picnic and attractions in the race village.
Virtual race – another record year?
Complementing the event will be the virtual race, held from September 1–7. Participants will run 4 km from anywhere in the world and can register their results using the new Poland Business Run mobile app.
“In the virtual challenge, you can run, walk, take your dog for a stroll, or use Nordic walking poles. Basically, any form of running or walking is allowed. This year, we’ve extended the time to complete the race from one day to seven. In last year’s edition, over 28,000 participants from 22 countries joined us this way - including from Canada, France, Singapore, Malaysia, and India. We’re hoping for another record!” adds Agnieszka Pleti.
The Poland Business Run mobile app, first introduced at the CSR Poland 2025 conference, is a tool that combines sport and integration with helping. It’s designed primarily for employees of companies and corporations, motivating them to build healthy habits and engage regularly in physical activity, while taking part in group-based sports and charitable actions. The app allows users to log runs, walks, cycling, swimming, yoga, and trekking. All virtual race participants will be able to use it. More information can be found here.

For years, our race has been supported by dozens of ambassadors from companies, corporations, sports, and entertainment, including Adam Czerwiński, Adrianna Palka, Monika Kukla, Rafał Sonik, Mateusz Janicki, Maurycy Popiel, and Lidia Bogaczówna. This year, they are joined by Justyna Święty-Ersetic - a Polish sprinter specializing in the 400 meters, an Olympian from London (2012) and Rio de Janeiro (2016), Olympic gold medalist in the mixed 4×400 m relay, silver medalist in the women's 4×400 m relay in Tokyo (2020), and participant in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Registration for the Poland Business Run opened on May 13 and will remain open until June 5, unless spots sell out earlier (for in-person events in Kraków and Warsaw). Registration for the virtual race is open until August 28. Team registration is available at: bieg.pbr.pl/en.
