A record 47,655 runners took part in the 15th Poland Business Run. Thank you!
The 15th edition of the Poland Business Run is now behind us! As many as 47,655 of you ran with us in Warsaw, Kraków and on your own routes as part of the virtual event. Participants in the PBR Walk and the youngest runners from PBR Kids also joined us in our efforts to help others. Thanks to your commitment, we are supporting people with mobility impairments, after amputations and after mastectomies. This year, our Foundation has already provided support to over 130 people, and this is not the end of helping through running.
Putting the team together, training together, deciding the running order and cheering on every runner right to the very last one. For many of you, the Poland Business Run begins long before the starting gun goes off. Thank you for the time you devote to preparing, for inviting new people to join us, and for coming back year after year. We welcome all first-time participants to our community!
Warsaw first
We kicked off this year’s relay races on 30 August at Bemowo Airport. The Warsaw edition of the Poland Business Run attracted over 3,800 people. Alongside the five-person relay teams, participants in the PBR Walk took part, and the youngest runners also had their own races as part of PBR Kids.
The fastest team was the PepsiCo Dream Team with a time of 1:11:51. Second place went to Accenture Team One, and third to Raion Fight Club Kraków. Among the women’s relay teams, Aniołki Damiana won with a time of 1:37:56. Congratulations!
Two days in Kraków
A week later, on 5 and 6 September, we met at Kraków’s Błonia and in Jordan Park. A total of 17,827 people signed up to take part in the relays, the PBR Walk and the PBR Kids.
Nearly 16,500 runners were on the race start lists. On Saturday, 1,779 teams took part, and on Sunday, 1,514. Each relay team had to cover 20 kilometres, four per person.
On Saturday, Klub Biegacza IS won with a time of 1:12:21, whilst Nokia – The One and ASSA ABLOY & HID also made it onto the podium. The fastest women’s relay team was Pratynki Turbinki with a time of 1:34:29.
On Sunday, #AdamCzerwińskiTeam were the first to cross the finish line with a time of 1:05:41. Sabre Run Force One and Software Mansion took the next places. Among the women’s teams, Raion Fight Club Kraków Women triumphed with a time of 1:18:51.
Over 600 people took part in Saturday’s PBR Walk, and more than 700 children signed up for PBR Kids. So there was plenty to cheer on throughout the weekend!
On Sunday, some rather unusual competitors also took to the starting line. Eighteen humanoid and quadrupedal robots took part in the ROBOT RUN. The competition was organised by PB TEAM, the organisers of the Science & Technology Film Festival. The teams fielding the robots supported our beneficiaries, with their donations boosting the fund for charitable causes.
One team, though different routes
Over 26,500 people chose to take part virtually. You ran wherever you live, work or spend your holidays. There was no need for a shared address or a single starting line. Even when team members were separated by hundreds of kilometres, they still formed one team.
– Thank you to everyone who puts a team together every year, encourages their colleagues and finds time for us in their busy schedules. And to those who joined us for the first time this year. Behind this record lie thousands of such decisions. I’d also like to thank the supporters and volunteers for their presence, hard work and the atmosphere they created. Over the coming months, we’ll be showing who received this support and what it has changed in their lives. I really want you to hear these stories. So that when you hear about someone returning to work, to a mountain trail or to their favourite sport, you’ll also think, ‘I played a part in that’. Because you did. Your participation continues
The anniversary edition of the Poland Business Run has come to an end, but the funds raised through the event will enable us to support more people. In 2026, over 130 beneficiaries have already received support from our Foundation, and over 1,400 since it began its work.
Your participation helps fund the purchase of prosthetics, orthopaedic and rehabilitation equipment, as well as rehabilitation and psychological support for people with mobility disabilities, after amputations and following mastectomies. We also meet with beneficiaries outside the rehabilitation centres. We organise mountain hikes, canoeing trips and group excursions. These are opportunities to return to favourite activities, try something new and meet people who have had similar experiences. We will be sharing stories about these meetings and the experiences of our beneficiaries over the coming months.
