How Amer Sports in Kraków supports an active lifestyle
At the Amer Sports Kraków office, we are home to our Global Business Services (GBS) center — a team of around 400 professionals across Finance, IT, Customer Service, and more, working together to support Amer Sports’ operations around the world. But our purpose goes far beyond the work itself.
As part of a global group of iconic sports and outdoor brands such as Arc’teryx, Salomon, Wilson, and Atomic, we are naturally connected to movement, performance, and wellbeing, and we bring this mindset into work every day. We don’t just talk about an active lifestyle — we live it. That influence shows up not only in what we do, but in how we connect as people.
Embracing local sports and outdoor experiences
We believe that staying active should feel natural and enjoyable, not like an obligation. At our Kraków office, we actively encourage people to explore different ways of being active, often inspired by the brands we represent. Whether it’s heading out for a casual tennis or padel session with Wilson rackets available in the office, taking part in our running club or Monday yoga classes, or organizing after-work bike rides, these activities tend to grow organically out of shared interests.
You’ll often see teams preparing together for local runs, spending time ice skating during winter, or planning ski trips as soon as the season begins. With the mountains so close to Kraków, hiking outings are also a natural part of our culture, reflecting the spirit of the Arc’teryx and Salomon brands. What matters most is creating an environment where people feel inspired to move, try new things, and enjoy sport in their own way.
Making a difference through sponsorship and volunteering
A great example of how we champion an active lifestyle is our partnership with the Poland Business Run. We have been participating in this initiative for over 10 years, and as our team continues to grow, so does the number of employees taking part each year. Seeing the strong sense of community and satisfaction it brings, we decided to further support the event and proudly became a sponsor this year.
At Poland Business Run, employees come together to run, but also to support people with mobility challenges — combining our passion for sport with accessibility. This spirit is also reflected in our volunteering efforts, where employees can actively contribute to meaningful causes beyond their daily roles. As an additional benefit for our employees, we offer two extra days off each year dedicated to volunteering activities, encouraging everyone to give back.
